Product information The homogenizing furnace unit consists of one 20t gas homogenizing furnace, one 20t cooling chamber & one 20t composite charging car. It’s for homogenizing aluminium billets to eliminate the unevenness chemical composition and internal organization of the billets. Then the billets are cooled at a controlled manner in the cooling chamber to improve metal processing performance for later extrusion or other processes. Technological Process: 1. Material Storage: the billets are placed on the tray of the material loading platform by the crane; 2. Material Loading into Furnace: the composite charging car carries the tray from the platform and to the furnace doorway, while at the same time the furnace door is lifted to position and it’s locked safely; charging car then enters the furnace and its lifting device lowers to place the tray on the brackets, the car retreats, and then furnace door is closed and sealed; 3. Homogenize: After the furnace door is closed, the furnace has the temperature rising & maintaining rapidly automatically according to the set homogenizing technological curve. Temperature difference of each spot inside the furnace is less than ±5℃ during the process of temperature rising.When furnace air temperature reaches setting point, according to processing requirement, the circulation blower switches speed automatically to ensure furnace temperature’s uniformity; When it reaches temperature maintaining stage, number of combustors working or fuel supply quantity is adjusted automatically to meet the requirement for furnace temperature’s uniformity. 4. Material Moving Out of the Furnace: When homogenizing process is finished, charging car moves to the furnace doorway, the furnace door is lifted to position and locked safely, charging car enters the furnace and carries out the tray and sends it to cooling chamber. 5. Cooling Process: charging car moves to the gate of the cooling chamber, chamber door is opened, charging car then enters the chamber, places the heated tray onto the brackets and retreats, the door is closed, rapid cooling system is started to cool down the billets. When the billets are cooled to the required temperature, air cool is adopted, that is the air from chamber outside flows in via blower for cooling the billets, the hot air is extracted from blower; 6. Material Unloading: After the cooling process, charging car enters the chamber to carry out the tray and waits for unloading, when unloading is done, the crane collects the billets, and the next circle starts.
